Syria's Assad arrives in UAE in official visit
On Sunday, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived in the UAE on an official visit to discuss strengthening cooperation and coordination on issues related to regional stability and development.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, was at the forefront of Al-Assad's reception, underscoring the significance of the meeting.
In a tweet posted by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, he described their discussions as "positive and constructive," aimed at supporting and developing "brotherly relations" for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
Al-Assad was given an official reception ceremony upon his arrival, which included the playing of the Syrian national anthem and a salute by an honor guard.
