The Russian military campaign in Ukraine reached its 82nd day on Sunday, as Russian forces continue to demolish Ukrainian military infrastructure and liberate Donbass region, while Western countries continue to arm Kiev.

According to the latest reports, Russian forces began firing incendiary shells towards Ukrainian soldiers at the azovstal plant, according to a spokesperson for the Mariupol mayor's office. According to the agency, some 600 badly injured troops were trapped in the besieged plant's bunkers and were unable to obtain necessary medical care.

On the ground, a local official said strikes targeted military sites in the Lviv area of western Ukraine, and the governor of Lviv said four missiles were fired at a military base.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 15 Ukrainian marches were shot down in the air above Donetsk, Lugansk, and Kharkiv, as well as the bombardment of 32 places for the deployment of Ukrainian soldiers in less than a day.

According to the governor of the Belgorod region, Ukrainian soldiers opened fire on a Russian village near the border, injuring one person.

The Russian campaign in the Donbass was late in accomplishing its goals, according to the British Ministry of Defense, and Russia failed to win military wins on the ground last month, with Russia possibly losing a third of its fighting personnel in Ukraine.

Despite this, Russia continues to struggle in the Donbass, particularly after Ukraine recently foiled Moscow's effort to cross the river into the region, resulting in the destruction of dozens of vehicles and substantial losses.
