At a beach on Long Island, a shark was seen on the sand.
The shark is seen moving around on video at Point Lookout, just north of the Loop Parkway bridge.
The shark was in trouble, so a commercial fisherman called the Department of Environmental Conservation for help.
But by the time the police arrived, the shark was gone.
Experts on wildlife think it was a mako shark about 10 feet long.
